slackware:office_settings

When installing Microsoft Office 2003 on Crossover Linux, the office tools seemingly do not appear in the KDE menu.

In order to run this wizard (in order to install your own Office configuration, keystrokes etc) you need to run the generic programme launcher:

17:12 slack@vaio:~/.cxoffice/bin$ ./cxrun

This will then ask you for a Windows executable to run: the appropriate one is found here:

~/.cxoffice/Microsoft Office 2003/drive_c/Program Files/Microsoft Office/OFFICE11/PROFLWIZ.EXE

The wizard points out that a silent restore is possible using

proflwiz.exe /r [path to OPS file] [/d]

It doesn't indicate what /d does.
